Haru-urara
2005.09.03 10:04

Haru-urara literaly means beautiful, pastoral spring days ( haru-spring, urara- beautiful, pastoral ) and the name came to be famous since it's been reported in BBC radio some years ago that it's a rasehorse that happened to keep on loosing more than a hundred times in a race. And it was spotlighted as a symbol of the spirit of never give up or the spirit of Olympics- there's a significance in participation. Also it was used as a symbol of overshadowing Japanese economy.
I'm not particulary fond of this horse though I recall the horse simply because the climate these days remind me of such pastoral days and another one- more important one, her name happened to be the same in part.
I don't think she's going to reply to me. Apart from the difference in our age -she's 21 I am 44 -I noticed we live in a completely different world. It's not easy to find a woman around me who has got a like-mindedness as mine.
Urara, forever!
