Long ago knowledge was only shared among monks or other religious people. It is not exaggerated to say the temple was a cradle of schools. Many people would agree to this. Used to be all books were stored inside the temple and only accessible to monks.
Around 13 centuries, books started being collected into libraries separated from the religious power, formed cores of colleges -later colleges started forming into universities. Then the universities were the centre of knowledge separated from religion. But still they were only accessible to students -elites from the affuluent households. Still knowledges were only shared among elites but not among the general public.
Then now. Almost all households have at least one computer. And all knowledges are shared among all households. In this age we don't have to spend too much money to just aquire knowledge, just know someone's idea.
Here has been arriving the age of liberation of all the knowledges. Liberation of knowledge also means liberation of humanities. Since many conflicts just come from ignorance. If we knew others well, we would not have to fight unnecessary war any more.
