80% of the City of New Orleans was submerged, the number of victims is said to be about 10,000.
35,000 people throughout the affected area are reported to have been missing. Just unbelievable, however..
Turn to where we live, we have been under recordbreaking rainfall, levees don't break but the waterlevel already surpassed over alarm level. It is just a matter of time to be suffered from flood.
My house happened to be located in relatively high hill. But in some area which located in hinterland of the city along the river, they are almost certain to be affected. It is not predictable whether our city becomes another New Orleans.
