Unless Casting A Seed
2005.08.13 15:07
Yesterday I started working at noon and I finished working at 2:30 in the morning, it was not so hard so after I finished working I went to the foreigner's bar for the first time in 4 months on Friday nights.
Last night, I went to the bar called 'The Dark Room', there I met a guy from Swindon, UK. I enjoyed a conversation a couple of minutes in Oxford English. It was already at 3:30 when I went there, at 4 o'clock the bar was over. Such a nice time in only such a limitted time. Before leaving the bar, I left my name saying please visit my site whenever, he replied favourably with a smile.
To get one fan in my presence means to get one thousand fans out of my presence, to get one thousand fans means to get a million reader of my writings. A guy seemd to feel worthy of tens of millions of readers that I have unseen yet. His name is Matt and teaching English in another city working one year there.
It was one of the rarest occasion for me to visit a bar one of these days, I felt I did a great job.
#Word
I was amazed to see many Japanese words are used directly in your article, among them giri-ninjo. I found it difficult to translate the word into English when I try to explain the features of Japanese politics (used to be) because the word connotes much more than the word. (I understand giri-ninjo is a kind of solidarity typical in same clan society.) If those words were transplanted into English, I don't have to feel much trouble in explaining them.
#Yahoo! City-Midnight
I call my city Yahoo! City because Yahoo! bought the professional baseball team, and now the dome is called Yahoo! Dome. Actually the name of my city is Fukuoka, probably not very famous.
It was about 10 years ago -1994, a guy who's apparently drunken was laughing and lying on the platform floor of subway station, one of his friends happened to see him there. She decided to move the city to somewhere. Since then I haven't seen her for good.
Apart from that, in Utrecht Station, one day around the noon of June, 1981 a man from Asian origin was lying and smiling on the floor of the passage, it was a really astonishing scene. (No, no, it's not me!)
In Hiroshima, 1984 a guy called 'Hiroshima Taro(means "boy")' who wore extremely colourful clothing and pulling a rear car with tens of thousands of banners and crane origamis were strolling over the town of Hiroshima. He was well known figure and was introduced in a TV. I encountered him many times every time I visited the city- more than four times.
In Los Angeles, 1986 I encountered several strange people on the street. Worse though some of them were definitely suffered from then fatal disease-aids.
Back in my city, a guy apparently drunken was dancing on the sidewalk at the centre of town by himself every Friday or Saturday nights. It was 1982. Nobody knows the guy was -myself!
#Forgive and Forget
Youe idea is very good. Awefully good idea. But the exile was held in 1755-1762. Nowadays nobody knows who's got a lineage directly from Acadians. Now all are Canadians, partly they are Acadians. Canadians, Acadians, people are the same no matter what their ethnic background might be.
#Bottomless
I'm also working in a technical college in part time, technical college here refers similar to that of in your country. Here two years in associate degree. Expectations of college board to us teachers are high, at the same time those of our students are high. We all are well expected to fulfill both their high expectations with relatively law salary. I cry. I cry again and again. The institutions are usually privately run. They tend to pay less, tend to get more from the student. Notwithstanding we ought to catch up with both expectations -from board & students. I wanna quit my job if I can. Education is bottomless.
This is a 10% negative phase. The rest of 90% I enjoy my being a teacher very much.
Conglatulations!
#Here It Is
I can be your friend, please mention where you live.
#Let's Be A Writer
College educated? 90% population have got a diploma (highschool educated), 40 % population have got a bachelor's degree. They are not ruled out for working just a living wage job.
Apart from that, I wanna be a writer, how about you? I find lots of traits typical to writer in your writings. I mean you are talented in writing. Soon e-book will be introduced in our daily life. According to my observations, the time is nigh for people to buy a stuff through downloading.
#It Was 14 Years Ago
I used to visit U2's birthplace in Dublin, that's it.
