Swinging My Way

After lengthy consideration, I managed to make up my mind. The time is extremely critical, now the tidings are about to change from ebb to flow.
Last night I visited the website of the Liberal Democratic Party. Mr Koizumi was asking us to support his reform bills, and seeking for a new candidate to run a general election of the House of the Representatives. So far 222 people submitted their resume in which 9 people were already decided to be candidates. They are seeking for 21 new candidates to fill their empty constituency. They need a LDP candidate. The deadline is 16th of August. Left two days to come.
I browsed the homepages of 24 Members of Parliament in LDP whose age is from 35 to 45, that is similar to me.
I certainly agree they all are energetic and deserve to be a Member of Parliament, but I felt something different from what I have been seeking for, what I will have been seeking for too.
Obviously I cannot back to what I used to be in my high school days, what I felt was their time was stopped at sometime when I was in my high teens.
They all have been seeking, they all will have been seeking is what I was over, the days are gone. I cannot take the needle of the clock back to the past.
I am in favour of privatisation of the postal services, not only that but other government agencies too have to be privatised. But I cannot seek for a seat in the national diet, that's what I cannot do. To take a route other than this, that is my way.
Around at age twenty, I decided not to get involved into Japan's society any more, it was less charmed and I was less enthusiastic for it, and the attitude and course I took some twenty-four years ago was right and I am in a right direction. I was able to reconfirm what course I have been taking is right. Sometimes it is not a bad thing for me to look back what I used to be in my highteens.
